Job Position:<\/strong> Eurasia Program Coordinator (Brooklyn, NY)<\/p>\n

The Social Science Research Council (SSRC) invites applications for a Program Coordinator to work with the Eurasia Program in the New York Office. The Social Science Research Council leads innovation, builds interdisciplinary and international networks, and focuses research on important public issues. It does this through a wide variety of workshops and conferences, fellowships and grants, summer training institutes, scholarly exchanges and publications. The SSRC is an independent and not-for-profit organization.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Program Coordinator will work on several projects of the program, including the Eurasia Program\u2019s annual fellowships and grants program, which is sponsored by the Department of State, Bureau of Intelligence and Research, Office of Outreach Title VIII Program for Research and Training on Eastern Europe and Eurasia (Independent States of the Former Soviet Union). Activities will include workshops, seminars and other field-building activities. Current thematic areas of focus include: public health, entrepreneurship, and youth. The Program Coordinator will also participate actively in developing new projects in the Caucasus and Central Asia, thematic issues such as Higher Education reform in Eurasia, and contribute to work in the area of international research ethics. S\/he will work closely with the Program Director and other Eurasia Program Staff on all these initiatives.<\/p>\n
