Job Position:<\/strong> Volunteers needed for Japan Matsuri (London, UK)<\/p>\n

Job Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A number of Volunteers and Interns are required for Japan Matsuri 2011<\/a>, which will take place on 18th September in London.<\/p>\n

Period: From NOW up to 18\/08\/2011(Sun)
\nVenue: London
\nLanguage Skill required: English or Japanese (* depending on the roles)<\/p>\n

If you join us as a volunteer we can give you:<\/p>\n

  • No salary\n<\/li>\n
  • Certificate\/Reference\/Achievement issued by the Japan Matsuri Ltd, upon your request\n<\/li>\n
  • The chance to experience Japan-related event which has attracted tens of thousands of visitors\n<\/li>\n

    <\/p>\n

    Please let us know when you are available to work with us:<\/p>\n

  • Available regularly from dd\/mm to dd\/mm, once\/twice a week basis\n<\/li>\n
  • Available 1 week before the event (around 11\/09): from dd\/mm to dd\/mm\n<\/li>\n
  • Available on the day of event (18\/09): from XX am\/pm to XX am\/pm\n<\/li>\n

    And choose the role you are interested in:<\/p>\n

    A: Administrative roles:
    \n<\/strong>
    \nA1: Liaising with Stage Performers
    \nA2: Liaising with Participants Groups\/Schools in Activities
    \nA3: Liaising with Stall
    \nA4: Liaising with Media
    \nA5: Web
    \nA6: Others<\/p>\n

    B: Art related roles\uff08\u2606Urgently Needed\u2606 suitable for Summer Internship and portfolio\uff09:
    \n<\/strong>
    \nB1: Decoration of the event site (the County Hall)
    \nB2: Design of event brochures and posters
    \nB3: Fabrication of Mikoshi (portable shrine), Chochin (lanterns) and others
    \nB4: Others<\/p>\n

    C: Infrastructure related roles (* mainly need to work on 18\/09):
    \n<\/strong>
    \nC1: Electrical wiring
    \nC2: Health & Safety, First Aid, nurses\/doctors
    \nC3: Patrol (traffic control, security stewards, parking area, wastes etc.)
    \nC4: Installation \/ clearing
    \nC5: Others<\/p>\n
