Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Permanent Mission of Japan to the UN is seeking an Administrative Assistant in the Social Section at the Permanent Mission of Japan to the UN.
\n
\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/strong>
\n1) Draft and prepare letters and diplomatic correspondence
\n2) Assist in logistics\/protocol for conferences, meetings, briefings, receptions, and other official functions
\n3) Edit English in both official\/unofficial documents
\n4) Manage appointment schedules for the section, visiting diplomats, and VIPs
\n5) Attend meetings\/conferences at UN as necessary
\n6) Respond to inquiries
\n7) Assist other officers and staff in the section when needed <\/p>\n

Requirements\/Preferences: <\/strong>
\n1) U.S. citizenship required
\n2) Bachelor\u2019s degree, preferably in International Relations, Political Science, Human Rights, Humanitarian Affairs, or related discipline
\n3) Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills at a native level required
\n4) Computer skills, typing skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc) required
\n5) Japanese language skills preferred <\/p>\n
