We are currently seeking to hire a person for our legal assistant\/administrative assistant position having the following qualifications:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Fluent in Japanese and English to assist DC intellectual property lawyers and Japanese staff in dealing with Japanese and U.S. clients.
\n\u2022 Experience in English and Japanese word-processing software.
\n\u2022 Interest in intellectual property issues (preferred).
\n\u2022 Bachelor’s degree desired, but not required.
\n\u2022 Technical\/scientifi c background is a plus, but not required.<\/p>\n

Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Prepare documents in patent and trademark matters. (No prior knowledge or experience required.)
\n\u2022 Research, file and obtain copies of patent and trademark documents at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
\n\u2022 Assist in administrative functions including typing, accounting, copying, etc.
\n\u2022 Part-time or full-time. Salary DOE.
\n\u2022 Will consider sponsoring H1-B Visa for the right applicant.<\/p>\n
