Job Position:<\/strong> Research Assistant Volunteer NEEDED (NYC)<\/p>\n

Job Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Conduct research and prepare grant applications for a Japanese volunteer organization whose mission is to enhance cultural exchange and understanding for the citizens of NYC. Improve research skills by conducting online and in-person research for prospective foundations requests. Draft written grant applications for submission to foundations.<\/p>\n

Required Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Online research skills.<\/li>\n
  • Ability to prepare written applications tailored to foundation objectives\/goals.<\/li>\n
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word.<\/li>\n

    Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Gain professional research and writing experience while providing a valuable service to a NYC service volunteer organization. Enhance and improve oral communication and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n

    Time\/Location Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Approximately 4 hours per week, with a minimum 3 month commitment requested.
