Key Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Managing program outreach and promotion to American schools and host families,
\n\u2022 Traveling domestically and internationally to represent TLI at conferences and assist in selecting exchange students,
\n\u2022 Coordinating placement of exchange students in host communities including managing a team of local coordinators,
\n\u2022 Designing and managing an intensive English and cultural orientation program for exchange students,
\n\u2022 Providing ongoing monitoring, support, and counseling to participants,
\n\u2022 Handling emergency calls from students and host families,
\n\u2022 Maintaining organized student files in compliance with State Department regulations,
\n\u2022 Recruiting American students and school groups to participate in outbound programs to China and Japan, and
\n\u2022 Working as a team member on other Laurasian programs as required.<\/p>\n

Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree
\n\u2022 Excellent English communication skills
\n\u2022 Strong organizational skills
\n\u2022 Strong problem-solving skills
\n\u2022 Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities
\n\u2022 Professional level skills in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)<\/p>\n

Desired Qualifications:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Experience working with high school students
\n\u2022 Previous experience as an exchange student or host family
\n\u2022 Experience living or working abroad
\n\u2022 Demonstrated experience successfully recruiting host families for international students
\n\u2022 Familiarity with Chinese, Japanese, or Korean culture
\n\u2022 Chinese, Japanese, or Korean language proficiency
\n\u2022 Cross-cultural communication experience
\n\u2022 Experience using databases
\n\u2022 Experience using social media for outreach, marketing, or promotion<\/p>\n
