Job Position:<\/strong> Japanese Translator -Administrative Executive Assistant (Kalamazoo\/Battle Creek MI)<\/p>\n

Job Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Schedule appointments, translation of technical documents,arrangements and agreements with suppliers of clerical assignments given by the president such as travel agencies etc, give information to callers, take dictation, compose and type correspondence, read and route incoming mail. Perform other administrative and clerical duties. Relieve officials of clerical work and administrative and business duties.<\/p>\n

Essential Functions:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Translation of documents.
\n\u2022 Keep track of immigration status for Japanese expatriates.
\n\u2022 Assist Japanese expatriates and their families with community access activities.
\n\u2022 Assist Japanese expatriates and their families with their relocation including but not
\n\u2022 limited to negotiating with vendors and suppliers of household needs, leases, terms and
\nconditions.
\n\u2022 Plan conferences\/meetings.
\n\u2022 Ensure all material required for conferences\/meetings is prepared and distributed
\naccurately.
\n\u2022 Prepare, file, copy and retrieve corporate documents and correspondences as needed.
\n\u2022 Read and forward incoming mail. Locate and attach appropriate file(s) to
\ncorrespondence.
\n\u2022 Prepare and send outgoing mail.
\n\u2022 Compose and type routine correspondence.
\n\u2022 Answer telephone and give information to callers or route call to appropriate official
\nand place outgoing calls.
\n\u2022 Schedule appointments, meetings and any special arrangements required such as food,
\nbeverages, transportation and needs of attendees.
\n\u2022 Make travel arrangements as needed.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Fluently Bilingual in Japanese\/English, written and spoken.
\n\u2022 Experience in technical translation from Japanese to English.
\n\u2022 Skills in speaking and writing Japanese consistent with a native of Japan.
\n\u2022 Ability to accurately complete all paperwork.
\n\u2022 Competent using office computer software.<\/p>\n
