  • Help improve Japan \u2013 U.S. collaboration and coordination in disaster preparedness and response. <\/li>\n
  • Gain expertise in the civil-military disaster policies, programs, and training of Japan and the U.S.<\/li>\n
  • Gain expertise in the policies and procedures of select Host Nations receiving humanitarian aid. <\/li>\n
  • Help connect international communities and leaders. <\/li>\n
  • Gain experience in non-profit industry.<\/li>\n

    Qualifications: <\/strong><\/p>\n

    Current graduate student or recent Master\u2019s Degree preferred. Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills. Experience in Asian research, particularly disaster preparedness\/relief, humanitarian assistance, civil-military collaboration, or international relations. Knowledge of Japanese or another Asian language is a plus.<\/p>\n
