Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sakura Educational Exchange USA, a nonprofit international student exchange organization in Rockville, Maryland is seeking energetic, international-minded, fun-loving, dedicated people interested in working with visiting Japanese high school students in March and July 2011.<\/p>\n

Dates:<\/strong> <\/p>\n

1st Program:<\/strong> <\/p>\n

  • TBA \u2013 Full Day Orientation in Rockville, MD<\/li>\n
  • TBA – Full Day Orientation at Sleep Inn \/ Crowne Plaza, Rockville, MD<\/li>\n
  • Tue. March 15, 2011 \u2013 Sat. March 28, 2011 \u2013 Full time including weekends and lodging in Rockville, MD<\/li>\n

    Hours:<\/strong> vary depending on the day\u2019s activities but basically 24\/7 except occasional mornings off<\/p>\n

    2nd Program: <\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Tue. July 5, 2011 \u2013 Orientation in Rockville Maryland<\/li>\n
  • Wed. July 6, 2011 through Tue. July 12, 2011 \u2013 Full time 24\/7 including lodging in Rockville, MD<\/li>\n

    Salary:<\/strong>\t<\/p>\n

  • 1st Program: $1,000 – $1,300 (total) depending on experience and responsibilities<\/li>\n
  • 2nd Program: $450 – $550 (total) depending on experience and responsibilities<\/li>\n

    Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Transport and Set up SEE-USA temporary office at hotel.<\/li>\n
  • Participate in orientation\/training sessions before students arrive<\/li>\n
  • Manage his\/her assigned group of 10-15 Japanese High School students<\/li>\n
  • Participate with the students in all study abroad activities including outings, school visits, sports, special events, volunteer\n
  • projects, English\/communication games, meals, etc.<\/li>\n
  • Initiate conversations, songs and games in English with the students<\/li>\n
  • Study and follow the schedule and assigned activities to your fullest ability<\/li>\n
  • Contribute with an energetic spirit and outgoing attitude with a focused direction<\/li>\n

    Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Completion of at least two years of college\/university study<\/li>\n
  • Interest in working with high school age international students<\/li>\n
  • Openness and sensitivity to cultural differences<\/li>\n
  • Flexibility; Ability to work well in a team with leadership qualities<\/li>\n
  • Knowledge of camp songs and a willingness to entertain as well as direct the students<\/li>\n
  • Outgoing, friendly, cheerful and highly extroverted personality<\/li>\n
