Job Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sakura Educational Exchange USA, a nonprofit international student exchange organization in Rockville, MD is seeking energetic, international-minded, fun-loving, dedicated people interested in working with visiting Japanese high school students in March 2011.<\/p>\n

Dates and Hours:<\/strong>\tApproximately 15 total teaching hours during 6 weekday mornings in March 2011<\/p>\n

Exact Dates:<\/strong> TBD<\/p>\n

Orientation<\/strong> (unpaid): TBD<\/p>\n

Location:<\/strong> \tBased out of Hotel in Rockville, MD\t<\/p>\n

Salary:<\/strong>\tHourly salary commensurate with experience<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong> <\/p>\n

  • Teach conversational English to groups of 14-18 Japanese high school students who are participating in a short-term (2 week) study abroad program<\/li>\n
  • Follow set experiential, theme-based curriculum provided by SEE-USA<\/li>\n
  • Enthusiastic, hands-on teaching style required!<\/li>\n

    Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Completion of a bachelor\u2019s degree in Education, ESL or related field<\/li>\n
  • Interest in working with high school age international students<\/li>\n
  • Flexibility; Openness and sensitivity to cultural differences<\/li>\n
  • Prior ESL teaching experience required<\/li>\n
