Job Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This position is responsible for handling tour arrangements and sales activities for group business. This includes customer service and account maintenance. Overtime and business trips may be required.<\/p>\n

Essential Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A. Handling operational activities for group trips<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Arrange air bookings<\/li>\n
  • Arrange hotel reservations<\/li>\n
  • Arrange land operations<\/li>\n
  • Create group documents<\/li>\n
  • Manage group registration sites<\/li>\n
  • Any other arrangements related to group operations<\/li>\n
  • Communicate with Japan office to coordinate travel arrangements in Japan<\/li>\n

    B. Communication with group clients<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Communicate with clients to make group arrangements in compliance with their requirements and needs<\/li>\n
  • Provide clients with appropriate information on the status of the group arrangements<\/li>\n
  • Attend meetings when necessary<\/li>\n

    C. Communication with group tour participants<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Prepare proper correspondence to tour participants to cater to their needs in a timely manner<\/li>\n
  • Provide tour participants with advice on travels as needed<\/li>\n

    D. Assistance to group escorting<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Escort groups with professional quality as required<\/li>\n

    E. Maintain existing accounts<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Visit our current clients and maintain good relationships with them<\/li>\n

    F. New group accounts acquisition <\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Visit prospective clients and make presentations<\/li>\n

    Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Travel industry experience is preferred but not required<\/li>\n
  • Strong interpersonal skills<\/li>\n
  • Multi-tasking skills<\/li>\n
  • Moderate MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills<\/li>\n
  • Bilingual (English\/Japanese)<\/li>\n
