Job Position:<\/strong> Showroom Sales Associate
\n(Temporary Assignment with a Possibility to Become Direct-Hire)<\/p>\n

Job Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Japanese textile company seeks a showroom sales associate for immediate hire.<\/li>\n
  • This is a 3-month temporary position. <\/li>\n
  • The contract can be renewed after 3 months. <\/li>\n
  • There is a chance to become direct-hire after 3 or 6 months depending on performance. <\/li>\n

    The company designs, manufactures and sells subsidiary materials for clothes (value-added trimmings for textile products), and they have been expanding their business in the world. The overall purpose of this job is to attend to both the retailer and wholesaler. <\/p>\n

    Job responsibilities include: <\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Perform customer service<\/li>\n
  • Perform sales<\/li>\n
  • Maintain showroom and stock room <\/li>\n
  • Perform general administrative duties etc<\/li>\n

    Candidate must to contribute to the team effort, maintain professional and technical knowledge<\/p>\n

    Salary is $13\/hr. (*NOT NEGOTIABLE).
    \nBusiness hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5:00pm. <\/p>\n

    Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Must have native-level English <\/li>\n
  • Japanese skill is NOT required but a big plus<\/li>\n
  • Spanish is NOT required but a big plus <\/li>\n
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills<\/li>\n
  • Some experience in retail, especially at department stores preferred<\/li>\n
