Part Time TOEFL and English as a Second Language Instructor. Kaplan International, a leader in English language training, is seeking qualified and dynamic individuals to join our team.<\/p>\n

Job Description:<\/strong>
\nThe ESL instructor helps international students achieve their personal and academic goals through English language instruction and\/or preparation for the TOEFL exam.<\/p>\n

Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Teach ESL\/TOEFL classes Monday-Friday according to Kaplan International curriculum<\/li>\n
  • Prepare daily lesson plans according to established syllabus<\/li>\n
  • Maintain a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning<\/li>\n
  • Test, evaluate, and counsel students regarding their academic performance and goals<\/li>\n
  • Maintain accurate record keeping for daily attendance and student performance<\/li>\n
  • Participate in staff meetings and in-service workshops<\/li>\n

    Position Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Bachelor\u2019s degree required + 1 year ESL teaching experience or TESOL certification (This is a MUST \u2013 no exceptions)<\/li>\n
  • Masters in TESOL candidates and those with overseas experience are strongly encouraged to apply<\/li>\n
  • Superior skills in creating a dynamic, interactive classroom experience<\/li>\n
  • High energy level and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n
  • Morning or afternoon availability from Monday to Friday<\/li>\n
