We seek a Manager of Consolidations with strong manufacturing\/operations knowledge to join our client\u2019s corporate accounting and finance team. The candidate we are seeking will possess demonstrated consolidations experience and knowledge including the management of a consolidations group.\u00a0 This position reports to the Corporate Controller and is based in metropolitan Orlando.<\/p>\n

The ideal candidate will have Japanese language skills and cultural knowledge along with the required accounting experience gained in a multi-cultural environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills honed in a team setting.\u00a0 A robust work ethic is required coupled with the organizational and time management skills necessary to manage multiple projects and activities within a deadline driven atmosphere. Candidate must also have strong analytical, math, problem solving and decision-making skills.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong>
\n-Assist with monthly financial close process.
\n-Prepare U.S. GAAP financial statements.
\n-Consolidate monthly results for two (2) locations and three (3) entities and produce financial statements.
\n-Prepare the monthly financial reporting\/management package.
\n-Support the interim and year-end audit process.
\n-Provide support in documenting policies and procedures.
\n-Assist with the development of certain work documents to reconcile to IFRS and U.S. GAAP statements.
\n-Serve as liaison between operating entities and the accounting\/finance team.
\n-Corporate account reconciliations.
\n-Maintain the chart of accounts and financial reports within the general ledger.
\n-Ad hoc report development and report maintenance as required.
\n-Manage staff of two (2).<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/strong>
\n-Eight (8) plus years related experience required.
\n-Demonstrated U.S. GAAP experience and knowledge.
\n-Able to apply, interpret and utilize U.S. GAAP.
\n-Japanese language skills and knowledge of Japanese culture.
\n-Ability to prepare detailed financial reports and effectively present information and respond to questions.
\n-IFRS knowledge a plus.
\n-International operations knowledge and experience a plus.
\n-Knowledge of manufacturing\/packaging\/distribution processes.
\n-Past accounting experience in the service center or macro maintenance industries, or accounting experience in macro construction or power utilities environments.
\n-Public Accounting experience is a plus.
\n-ERP knowledge and usage required, SAP experience a plus.<\/p>\n

Education <\/strong>
\n-Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting required.
\n-CPA preferred.
\n
\nCompensation<\/strong>
\nSalary commensurate with experience.<\/p>\n
