Prepare drafts of marketing materials (e.g., brochures, program announcements, membership information, etc.)<br \/>\n\u2022 Contribute ideas for multimedia and interactive content to increase the reach of the Council and to retain engaged audiences.<br \/>\n\u2022 Create graphics and layouts, including e-Newsletter templates, website templates, web content, logos, marketing brochures, fliers, event registration pages, and invitations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain and update the Council\u2019s website.<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide basic software program training to staff, as needed (e.g. \u2013 Salesforce.com, Constant Contact).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills. Command of web content development<br \/>\n\u2022 Web development skills (required): basic HTML, CSS; experience with Express Engine, WordPress, Dreamweaver<br \/>\n\u2022 Graphic Design skills (preferred): Adobe Creative Suites<br \/>\n\u2022 E-Newsletter (preferred): Democracy in Action, Constant Contact or others<br \/>\n\u2022 Basic video editing skills (preferred)<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in Online database (preferred): Salesforce.com<br \/>\n\u2022 Google application skills (Google sites, Calendars, Analytics \u2013 preferred) \u2022 Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with attention to detail<br \/>\n\u2022 A Bachelor\u2019s degree in graphic design, web design, visual communications, or other related field is preferred<br \/>\n\u2022 2-3 years media\/communications experience (preferred)<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nTO APPLY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates should provide a cover letter, resume, and examples of website work to hr@usjapancouncil.org.
