These positions are located at our Harrisonburg, Va., development office (in a college town approximately 100 miles southwest of Washington, D.C.) in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. \nMinimum Job Requirements:
\n\u2022 Excellent Japanese written and verbal communication skills
\n\u2022 Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
\n\u2022 Exceptional creative writing or news writing skills
\n\u2022 Ability to write content with constrained vocabulary
\n\u2022 NATIVE Japanese speaker with an excellent linguistic understanding of the language and an understanding of the obstacles posed to learners of Japanese
\n\u2022 Comfortable writing for wide range of audiences
\n\u2022 Familiarity with multimedia technology
\n\u2022 Ability to balance creativity with ambitious deadlines
\n\u2022 Thrives in a team environment
\n\u2022 Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, linguistics, second-language acquisition, education or a related field
\nPreferred Skills and\/or Education:
\n\u2022 Language-teaching experience
\n\u2022 Storyboard experience
\n\u2022 Multilingual with linguistic expertise in languages in addition to Japanese
\n\u2022 Graduate degree in creative writing, literature, or journalism
\n\u2022 Familiar with curriculum design
\n\u2022 Experience in intercultural communication and problem solving
