American Apparel<\/strong> is looking for a well managed Japanese speaking retail operations assistant<\/a> in<\/span> Los Angeles<\/strong>. This positions principal duty is to communicate policy and procedural updates with our Japanese and Korean locations. You will also be coordinating promotions according to various holidays and seasonal shifts. A good understanding of Japanese retail business is necessary.<\/p>\n

RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

  • Communicate all retail related updates with Japanese and Korean locations<\/li>\n
  • Collect feedback for new styles and promotions<\/li>\n
  • Troubleshoot technical issues<\/li>\n
  • Maintain records, reports and\/or files<\/li>\n
  • Use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Filemaker and our POS Retail Pro system to enter, access or retrieve data<\/li>\n
  • Conduct weekly conference calls with Japan and KoreaREQUIREMENTS<\/strong>:<\/li>\n
  • Fluency (written and spoken) in Japanese and English languages<\/li>\n
  • Detail oriented with intermediate to advanced excel skills<\/li>\n
  • Critical thinking<\/li>\n
  • Negotiation ability<\/li>\n
  • Positive attitude<\/li>\n
  • Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n
  • Good time management PREFERRED<\/strong> SKILLS<\/strong>:<\/li>\n
  • Previous Japan retail experience<\/li>\n
  • Computer savvy<\/li>\n
