General Position Summary

This position is responsible for designing mobile banner ads/videos and landing pages through planning A/B tests and analyzing the test results. The role involves working closely with the clients to meet their demands as well as leading the design direction in the U.S. market with HQ members.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Designing
    • Brings strong visual design skills in leading to creative and innovative online advertising.
    • Leads design of U.S. and cross-border deals.
    • Produces and present engaging campaign analysis for clients, demonstrating the effectiveness of planning, testing and media optimization and management.
    • Shares insight and guidance to members of our creative team.
    • Maintains and stay current about industry news and research.
    • Analyzes data and cooperating with designers to create creative.
    • Develops basic presentation approaches by reviewing materials and information presented by client.
    • Determines production requirements by reviewing client requirements; considering scheduling factors.
    • Determines production schedule; outlines basic presentation concepts; coordinates creative activities.
    • Determines project content by reviewing and approving art and copy materials developed.
    • Obtains client approval by presenting final layouts to client.
    • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; recommending changes to the design to clients’ needs.
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
    • Develops marketing strategies by examining client objectives; planning, scheduling, and completing design and production requirements for direct marketing, telemarketing, and advertising.
    • Keeps clients informed by compiling, analyzing, and reporting marketing results; forwarding plan projections and updates.
    • Helps clients by answering questions and responding to requests.
    • Being trained in Japan Headquarters for the first 1-2 months.
  • Other & Miscellaneous
    • Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
    • Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management.
    • Maintains high ethical standards in the work place.
    • Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for solution.
    • Maintains good communication with management, office staff members and outside contacts.
    • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
    • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Qualifications

  • Education & Work Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.)  in business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Conversational Japanese (speaking).
    • Professional experience developing online advertisement.
    • Strong understanding of the local (e.g. U.S., China) digital creative and related platforms.
    • Experience working in game, marketing, or advertising company.
    • Constantly learning about the latest and greatest trends in paid media and PPC.
    • 2+ experience with Adobe Creative Suite is plus.
    • Experience with HTML and CSS is a plus.
