Hello, my name is Hayato Kurashiki, a founder and CEO of Kids&Us Japan who is looking to hire a part-time English teacher. (would evolve into a full-time position if the person prefers) I myself just graduated an MBA program from IESE Business School (class of 2017) and currently preparing to launch ‘Kids&Us’ in the Japanese market. As we are going to increase our team of teachers very soon, we hope to get in touch with potential candidates through JETwit.
*Kids&Us is an English school for children from 1 to 18 years old with a unique methodology that takes advantage of the process of the mother tongue acquisition. It is successful in the non-native speaking countries mainly in Europe and it currently has 375 schools in 8 different countries. Description

We are currently looking to expand the teaching teams at our Kids&Us schools and we are recruiting teachers who are either native English speakers or bilingual. We are looking for sociable people who are dedicated to the teaching profession and who love working with young children and everything it entails. Candidates must be dynamic, fun and feel highly motivated by what they do.

Their responsibilities consist of teaching classes, implementing student follow-up attendance records, grades and reports, completing online reports at the end of each term and performing other school-related tasks.

We offer: ongoing training in the Kids&Us company-developed METHODOLOGY and employment in a young, dynamic company of recognized prestige in the field of infant education.

General requirements

  • Advanced or Proficiency level of English (C1-C2)
  • Candidates with qualifications in Infant Education, Foreign Languages, Language and Literature, Translation and Interpretation and other similar types of qualification will be given preference.
  • Previous teaching EXPERIENCE will be a plus factor for candidates, as well as being adept at working and communicating with children.
