The Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations is seeking an Editor and Speechwriter for the Political Section.

Requirements/Preferences:

  1. Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills at native level required.
  2. At least 3 years’ experience in editing/speechwriting or journalism required.
  3. Japanese language skills and familiarity with Japanese culture highly preferable.
  4. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
  5. Excellent Computer skills, typing skills (60wpm minimum) required.
  6. Fair knowledge of international affairs, diplomacy and the United Nations system preferred
