Job Description

As a future manager candidate for Production Department, initial 1-2 years will be spent learning the processes and employees of the department through assisting in various sectors of the production plant, and aims to be an upper position with more responsibilities.

The positions ideal career path is set-forth as below :

After 1 year: Production Line Leader

After 2 years: Production Supervisor

After 3 years and later: Will be trained at group headquarters in Japan. Then, after returning to the U.S., will manage and supervise staff and show successful results as Assistant Manager or Manager or other managerial role.

【Warehouse】

  1. Receiving transported ingredients and materials used for production

  2. Shipment of products

  3. Organization of warehouse

【Measuring】

  1. Measurement of ingredients

  2. Pick ingredients from storage

【Liquid Production】

  1. Pick ingredients from storage

  2. Feeding ingredients as instructed in check sheet

  3. Filling of products

  4. Operation of various machinery

  5. Packaging and palletization of products

  6. Maintenance of production machinery and various equipment

  7. Preparation of Production: Printing of product labels, acquiring necessary equipment or resources, applying labels

【Powder Production】

  1. Pick ingredients from storage

  2. Feeding ingredients as instructed in check sheet

Requirement

2. Understand food safety and present oneself to be a sanitary in fitting to handle food products

3. Basic Calculation Skill: Addition, subtraction, division

4. Understands work ethics including but not limited to: Precision, Accuracy, Patience, Observation, and Responsibility

5. Strong communication and intrapersonal skills

6. Team player

7. Display positive attitude and motivated to obtain new skills and knowledge

8. Habits of punctuality

9. Ability to lift and carry heavy object (roughly 66lbs)

10. Ability to stand for long periods of time

11. Can be flexible with business requirements of early shifts and overtime

12. Resourceful and goal-oriented; strong motivation to become a manager of Nippon Shokken U.S.A. Inc.

13. Ability to communicate fluently with Japanese and English speakers
