Canycom is a manufacturer of equipment for construction, trail building, agriculture, and landscaping. Canycom USA seeks an entry level sales/administrative assistant to join their North American distribution office in the Seattle, WA area. This role will support the Office Manager and Sales team. Must be able to communicate well, work effectively with the team and multi-task with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • The Sales Assistant will provide administrative and basic bookkeeping support to the Office Manager and Sales Managers.
  • General administrative duties include invoicing, data entry, correspondence with customers, ordering office supplies and services, filing, mail distribution, and other clerical duties as requested.
  • Answer incoming customer phone calls and emails in a professional and pleasant manner.
  • Assist customers placing purchase orders via email, fax, and phone.

Basic Requirements

  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Bookkeeping ability
  • Working knowledge of Office Suite and be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Ready to work with QuickBooks and inventory software
  • Ability to skillfully handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with clients, vendors, etc. is a must
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to establish priorities
  • A self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in a professional manner
  • Native or near native English writing and speaking proficiency 
  • Self-motivated to become familiar with technical parts breakdowns, machine specs, and operator manuals in order to assist customers in parts orders

Preferred Qualifications

  • AA or Bachelor’s Degree and experience in customer service
  • Entry level/Mid-Career (2+ years of experience)
  • Ability to problem solve issues that may arise with customers and/or direct them to proper person to handle them
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
