Consultant Solutions is owned by former JET, Thad Johnson (Hyogo, 2000-2001) and employs many other former JETs in a variety of positions. The firm has been providing business consultation and Japanese and English services for over twelve years in Kentucky and in Japan.
They are looking for a full-time Automation Technician/PLC Programmer with manufacturing or maintenance experience in an automotive or similar institution. You may travel up to 30% of the time supporting projects at client sites across North America.
They seek proficiency in Microsoft Office software and programming ability. The ideal candidate has experience in robotics, PLC programming, debugging, equipment procurement, relevant maintenance, or project management. You will need to be creative, dedicated, and flexible in your support of project managers in a Japanese/American manufacturing environment. Familiarity with Japanese culture, language or experience working with Japanese companies is a plus. Tech School graduates considered.
Consultant Solutions will provide training and a support network that includes translators with experience in the field. We will also consider relocation and/or visa support for the right candidate.
