Auburn University (AU) is looking for another coordinator to join the study abroad team. The job position is “Coordinator I/II/II, Student Services” for Auburn Abroad in the Office of International Programs. This is a full time position which will report to the Director of Auburn Abroad and Exchange Programs. In addition to the description below, applicants with experience working with diverse groups within study abroad and those who have experience with customer relationship databases are highly desired.

The individual in this position will provide professional support to the Director of Auburn Abroad by coordinating the campus-wide technology-based application system for study abroad/international travel and providing advice regarding study abroad program enrollment. Essential functions include enrollment in AU student scheduling system (BANNER), grade processing and advising for students in faculty led programs; administering study abroad software application (StudioAbroad); creating reports for international travel insurance enrollment and agreement processing. Responsible for conducting orientation/pre-departure sessions for students; training faculty, students and other coordinators in the use of study abroad software; reporting and analyzing demographic data on programs abroad. Functions as the liaison to the Office of International Programs IT personnel regarding Auburn Abroad website and study abroad software. Manages annual photo contest; collaborates in marketing Auburn Abroad; serves on OIP emergency abroad response team. Must have the ability to function completely in a team environment; excellent analytical, organizational, reasoning, and problem solving skills; ability to interact effectively with a diverse campus community; excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; and computer literacy. May be responsible for assigning tasks to others. Coordinates agreement processing into xtender and future agreement databases.

Minumum Qualifications: Entry into the applicant pool requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Communications, Liberal Arts, or a related field. Knowledge of computer software applications; the ability to effectively train others; a valid United States passport; and the ability to travel are also required. The ability to multitask and allocate time to manage several projects is critical. Description of the Position

The University Relations Manager is a position within the University Relations Team. The UR teams works to develop pathways for students to participate in GE internship programs via affiliate agreements, custom programs or other models. This position is a key customer service and liaison role that ensures our partner institutions are provided with everything they need to make their advising roles easier regarding international internships and that Global Experiences staff are provided with everything they need to correctly deliver the internship program determined by our university partners. The position is responsible for working with existing university partners to ensure successful student enrollment, developing marketing collateral both digital and print, communicating with university staff relating to campus events, contracts, budgets and curriculum development and being a main point of contact should questions arise from our partners.

This position will also work with the University Relations Team to develop new university partnerships. We see this role being critical in meeting the organization’s growth goals and will report to the Director of Institutional Partnerships.

Responsibilities:
The staff member must understand the relationship building aspect of the department. Flexibility, responsibility and adaptability are key traits the successful candidate will exhibit.

University Account Management

· Maintain schedule of campus visits / fairs and coordinate logistics with institutions
· Act as point of contact to advisors related to program logistics including student lists and deadlines
· Attend conferences or fairs representing the organization
· Liaise with institutional contact regarding updates to program pricing, budgeting, contracts
· Proactively outreach to faculty members on campus where formal programs are established to increase awareness of Global Experiences and our ability to custom design programs
· Assist University Relations team members to develop inroads with faculty / administrators for potential partner institutions
· Assist in the delivery of informational webinars, career development sessions, orientations and info sessions
· Liaise with Global Experiences staff to ensure accurate program billing

Marketing / Media

· Maintain contact with institutions related to GE promotional materials and digital listings in programs such as Simplicity, Horizons and Studio Abroad and liaise with GE marketing staff.
· Work with Global Experiences’ enrollment team to identify institutional inquiry trends and provide support documentation in the form of spreadsheets and database reports to University Relations staff.
· Proactively work to identify new relationships through outreach
· Contribute to the development of marketing materials including print and electronic
· Work with participants of the Ambassador’s program to facilitate additional outreach opportunities
· Liaise with staff to develop on-line portals and enrollment / application systems
