Overview: Seeking self-sufficient pro-active communicator to work with three dynamic and successful female consultants to manage and implement diverse marketing initiatives.  Each of us has a unique specialty, giving you variety and the opportunity to broaden your experience and exposure. The work will primarily focus on B2B marketing activities, either on behalf of our clients or for our firms, with the exception of B2C oriented work related to book promotion. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage social media for Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest for technology clients (includes finding relevant content, posting, monitoring social venues and metrics reporting).
  • Conduct online research for clients in technology space.
  • Create content for monthly newsletters.
  • Prepare monthly web & direct mail analytics reports.
  • Create simple video snippets for social media outlets (film, edit, post; scripts will be provided).
  • Research, write and post weekly blogs for a K-12 education company.
  • Execute publicity campaign for newly published book.
  • Support content creation for website redesign (develop content, select photos/visuals, etc.).
  • Execute a contact nurturing process to keep firm top-of-mind among clients and prospects

Requirements:

  • Native speaker of English or equivalent.
  • Tech-savvy; familiar with high-technology players/landscape.
  • Fast learner (new tools, technologies).
  • Excellent writer – concise, organized, and able to write persuasively.
  • Self-motivated; ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Superior time management skills; meet deadlines, communicate status, etc. Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects for different clients. Highly responsive to communications with good follow through / follow up skills.
  • Meticulous eye for detail, accuracy, high standards of presentation.
  • High level of professionalism in all communications and interactions (interpersonal, written, and oral) and ability to communicate with all levels of management, customers, and vendors internally & externally.
  • Proactive, pragmatic, and resourceful problem solver able to identify and solve problems before they reach critical stages.
  • Highly motivated, takes pride in work and strives for excellence.
  • Experienced user of social media technologies with understanding of b2b online marketing and social media.

Bonus Points:

  • Understanding of SEO tactics and marketing analytics tools is a plus

  • You’ll operate as an independent contractor and will be responsible for paying your own taxes.  We are looking for someone who’s available on a long-term basis.

  • You’ll be able to work remotely at home with flexible hours. If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area, there is the option to work onsite (Peninsula).
