Overview:

The Academic Internship Institute of Australia (AIIA), Hong Kong (AIIHK), Singapore (AIISG), and New Zealand (AIINZ) of parent company PBD, are recruiting for a couple of full time International Project Coordinators.  AIIA, AIIHK, AIISG, and AIINZ organize turn-key solutions for universities to build and offer studentscustomized faculty led and international academically credit bearing internship programs to Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore and other countries in Asia Pacific. The programs cover a diverse range of subjects for many leading universities.

Position Description:

This role suits a recent graduate or young professional looking to take the next step in their career with an exciting young company and join a dedicated team of people striving to improve study abroad experiences for university students. Based in Sydney, Australia, this role is open to US passport holders and any other individuals eligible for the 462 or 417 Work and Holiday visas. The roles include:

  • Maintaining university program and individual student files
  • Accounting and book keeping for each international project
  • Booking accommodation and scheduling meetings, interviews, appointments, etc .
  • Maintaining the marketing database
  • Arranging and conducting sales calls
  • In country program support
  • Overseas Asia Pacific program support for the right candidates
  • General admin duties as required

Position Requirements:

  • Organized, detail oriented, thorough, reliable and able to make deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Professional, and able to work both independently and in a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Able to work at the computer for sustained periods of time
  • Candidates with at least one year previous office administration, or other work experience, are preferred
  • Candidates with experience studying, working, or living abroad are preferred
  • Candidates who are eligible for the Work and Holiday visas 462 or 417 are preferred (US passports are eligible for the 462 visa depending on individual circumstance)
