Positions: Director of Alumni Relations, Database Administrator, Program Administrator

Director, Alumni Relations:

Working closely with the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, the Director of Alumni Relations will develop and implement comprehensive fortification and expansion strategies for Wagner’s Alumni Relations. The Director of Alumni Relations will oversee program development, logistics planning, web-based content management, data integrity, and marketing of new and existing alumni programs to foster engagement. In addition, the individual in this role will lead the NYU Wagner Alumni Working Group, serve as Wagner’s liaison at university-wide alumni meetings and activities, and enhance giving to the annual fund.

Requirements:

  • This position requires a minimum of 7 years’ experience in relationship, project, and events management in addition to experience with complex data management.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, bringing diverse constituencies together, and working with multiple data systems.

Database Administrator, Information Technology:

The Database Administrator will serve as the first line of service to all NYU Wagner staff members regarding Salesforce usage. The individual will assist with access, training, and data conversion within the database system. Working closely with the Director of Information Technology, the Database Administrator will also provide assistance in the development of third-party software and database applications. Finally, the Program Administrator will help provide web development and desktop support to Wagner staff, faculty, and student workers.

Requirements:

  • Masters of Science degree in computer science or coursework in data warehouse technology and business intelligence is preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in database administration and management including database design and system analysis.
  • Extensive practice managing customized Salesforce user accounts and experience in an academic environment is preferred.

Program Administrator, Governance Lab:

The Program Administrator will manage events, conferences, and programs for the Governance Lab (GovLab) at NYU Wagner. In addition, the individual will directly manage the research center’s budgets and track its expenses in coordination with other key team members. The Program Administrator will also provide administrative assistance to the research center’s principal investigators.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination.
  • Must include experience with space/facility management, budget administration, planning and implementing special events and activities, and project management.
