I’m looking for a bilingual cookbook researcher and hope you can help.
Chef Tadashi Ono of Matsuri restaurant and I are writing a cookbook for the Ten Speed Press, a major publisher, about Japanese hotpots. The book will be more than just nabe recipes; we aim to introduce Japanese eating culture and regional cooking to an American audience.
We need a part-time researcher who’s smart, curious, responsible, passionate about Japanese cooking, and fluent in both Japanese and English. Journalism experience isn’t necessary, but prior research work is a plus. We estimate researching will take about 5 to 10 hours per week working from home, from now until January.
I wonder if there may be a JET out there who’d be interested to work on this project?
